Our Story

Nestled in the West Portal neighborhood, Mozzarella di Bufala Pizzeria has been family owned and operated in San Francisco for over 25 years. We pride ourselves in serving authentic cuisine with high quality ingredients in our Italian and Brazilian dishes. Mozzarella di Bufala Pizzeria 's emphasis on service and great food will make you a loyal customer.

To bake our pizzas, we only use the freshest ingredients, a special blend of tomato or pesto sauce, natural, whole-milk mozzarella cheese, olive oil and our own hand-spun dough. We also offer a cornmeal crust. Try our best seller, the Di Bufala pizza made with salami, sausage, pepperoni, onions, bell peppers and mushrooms. For a different spin, try the French pizza, made with pesto sauce, chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic and cheese.

We also offer a variety of Brazilian dishes, including the very popular feijoada- a fresh and smoked, pork and beef, black bean stew accompanied with rice, collared greens and farofa (roasted yucca flour.)

Our menu also includes appetizers, soups, salads, pasta, sandwiches, desert and a variety of beverages, including red and white wine.
