About Cafe Rouge
Café Rouge has become a Berkeley institution over the years since opening in 1996.
Chef and owner Marsha McBride brought a particular sensibility to her new restaurant that evolved from her ten years as kitchen manager at Zuni Café in San Francisco.
With executive chef Rick DeBeaord presiding over the kitchen and collaborating with Marsha daily, the Café offers some of the freshest, tastiest meats, charcuterie and seafood in the Bay Area. With a full sevice bar, comfortable dining room and fresh seafood bar, Café Rouge is a regular destination for local diners and travelers.
