Our Story

We are excited to announce our newest Kaenyama Sushi, Yakiniku & Lounge in Fremont!

KAENYAMA is the one Japanese restaurant standing in Fremont for almost one decade. We started up at 2008 and focused on bringing amazing sushi, Teppanyaki and Asian Fusion food to our customers. Nowadays, we are pushing our restaurant to another mile stone “Yakiniku” which is Japanese Style BBQ. Today, we will not just focus on Japanese food, but, will also provide high quality service and food “Japanese Wagyu” to our lovely customers. After the remodeling, we will reopen at around Mid-Oct. Therefore, we will need more new faces like “you” to join us, working at one of the high-end Japanese restaurants in Fremont, we are hiring all positions. General Requirements:
Looking for motivated, hardworking individuals who learn quickly
Ability to get along with co-workers and work well as a team in a hectic, busy environment
Be on time and reliable, possess a positive attitude and friendly personality
Must be able to work on weekends and holidays
Willing to work late hours
Willing to work under pressure
Be able to treat the business as his/her own

SERVERS: (Full-time or Part-time) – Restaurant serving experience, preferably in Japanese cuisine, must be passed ServSafe certified before training, we will provide a course for how to open a bottle of wine in front of customers, and properly hold and handle a tray with dishes/glasses on top. Applicants must be able to work late nights & on weekends, work well in a hectic environment, show commitment and teamwork with coworkers, etc. Full/Part time available.

BARTENDERS - Bartending experience of at least 1-2 years is required. Must have serving experience and be willing to serve tables by the bar along with customers at the bar. Must be willing to work week nights and late night weekends. Full/Part time available.

HOSTESS/CASHIER - No experience is needed. Must have good communication with the guests, and must be willing to follow directions. Job details: greeting guests, leading them to their table, customer payment, organizing reservations, answering phone calls, and handling takeout orders. Full/Part time available.

FOOD RUNNER- No experience needed. Must have good communication with the kitchen chef, sushi chef, server, and must be willing to follow directions. Job details: run the food, serve the food to the table, organize the order, cleaning up the table. Full/Part time available.
