Devoted to addressing the suffering in the professions, with an initial focus on the legal profession. Anxiety, debilitating stress, overwhelm, substance abuse and disillusionment can feel like constant companions to lawyers, law students, conflict professionals, and others working with or inside the justice system. This suffering impacts individuals, their firms and associations, the people they serve, and society at large.
We see a better way: a path to effective, powerful practice that is wise and compassionate, and honors and cultivates emotional as well as intellectual intelligence. We want to help, by empowering lawyers, social justice workers, and conflict professionals to become more successful and happier. We've seen that happen when these professionals participate in our Essential Mindfulness for Lawyers®, programs, which include a set of mindfulness tools designed by and for the legal mind. We've seen lawyers and conflict professionals learn to help their colleagues through our highly-regarded Mindfulness in Law Teacher Training, the first teacher training of its kind ever offered.
We are joyful, powerful, and connected, and we are looking for a like-minded individual to join our team!
