Founded and incorporated in 2010, our uniquely titled eatery came bursting out of an egg of family dreams and a passion for cooking. But it wasn’t without months of creative design, as owners Jackie and Don Handlin and son Brandon Wade strove to establish a place with much more meaning than just a simple cafe.
You see, at Wet Hen Cafe we embody family history, a love of mouth-watering cuisine, support for the local community, and a desire to give people a pleasant atmosphere, or the ability to actually sit back and relax with friends; Wet Hen Cafe has a place and a plate for you!
Pairing over 30 years experience between the three of them; Jackie, Don Brandon hope to find you visiting for breakfast or lunch in their home away from home. Each has lent their expertise to the recipes we use every day to make your heart melt with joy and anticipation of your next meal with us!
Whether you come from afar, Reno or Sparks we know you’ll find our coop cozy and inviting.
So if you’re local, or stopping by for the weekend, make it a goal to visit us for a little scratch.
