Two By Sea was born out of frustration of the lack of honesty and accountability in the seafood marketplace and a lack of fair pay for the fishing industry. Our goal is to alter the way seafood is farmed, caught, and handled from boat to plate. We believe educating consumers on the importance of healthy oceans and the food we harvest from it rests on the shoulders of we who sell and present this precious resource.
Two By Sea supplies leading Bay Area restaurants with seafood sourced directly from the fishing community using the strictest of environmental standards and eliminating other wholesale operations and middlemen. More importantly, there are no tall tales about what the product is, how it was caught and whether or not it is truly sustainable.
We are committed to a long term view of seafood as a renewable resource. Our product list represents a diligent and honest assessment of what we must do to save the oceans for future generations, while providing fair wages and respect for the men and women who work so hard to fish in a responsible manner.
