In 1872 Henry Austin helped create and pass the Illinois Temperance Act to ban the sale of alcohol. As a result, the village of Oak Park remained “dry” for 100 years. Well, it’s never too late to start making up for lost time. We are excited to announce the first brew pub in Oak Park since before the days of Prohibition!
Next door is Hamburger Mary’s Show Lounge, featuring nightly entertainment including “Dining With the Divas” Drag Revue, Charity “HamBingo Mary’s,” and “MaryOke!” The menu on both sides features a variety of items from appetizers to desserts, with an emphasis on big and juicy gourmet burgers and gastropub fare.
