Gloria’s main goal is to research and master all the ingredients that are present in Mexican cuisine, and look for them in the most remote places of Mexico. This passion to learn from her roots has formed her career as a Chef, crafting dishes straight from the heart. Her personal experiences, shared with great love and passion for food can be tasted and seen at Tamarindo’s table.
Alfonso Dominguez has used his architectural background to create a classic but contemporary representation of Mexican design. Tamarindo’s interior design was a great opportunity to communicate the experience he had in his travels to Mexico. As first generation born in the US by Mexican parents. He felt it was an great moment to partner with his Mother Gloria Dominguez in creating Tamarindo. Alfonso was fortunate to be raised with amazing traditional Mexican cuisine in his household. This allowed him to have passion for food and for its meticulous process. It was natural venture for him to represent his culture in food and social experience.
