United Cerebral Palsy of the North Bay (UCPNB) is a locally run, 501 (c) (3) organization founded in 1981 after the merger of United Cerebral Palsy of Marin (1954) and United Cerebral Palsy of Sonoma (1969). We provided services for people with disabilities and their families living in Sonoma, Napa, and Solano Counties. In 2006, we receive a bequest that allowed us to build new facilities and develop new programs.
Our four primary programs are:
(1) WineBev Services: a social enterprise, employment, and education program located in Napa County for adults ages 18 and over with developmental disabilities,
(2) Cypress School: a non-public school located in Sonoma County for children ages 6-22 with special education and behavioral needs that cannot be met in public schools, and
(3) Recreation: a variety of camp and adapted physical education activities for children and adults.
(4) Gone for Good, Secure Document Destruction: provides services for the security collection, destruction, and recycling of sensitive materials and information.
