St. Mark's Harmony Center will serve youth with developmental disabilities in an after-school program. The Harmony Center serves students ages 12 to 21 who are currently enrolled in middle school or high school.
The Harmony Center program has been created to provide help with life skills such as cooking, gardening, computer skills, and social skills. We also offer instruction in self-care, mindfulness meditation and spiritual practices. Enrichment will be fostered through music and art. The purpose of the Harmony Center is to provide advocacy and capability building based on belief in the human spirit and community.
We are working to provide students with disabilities a place to explore interests and hobbies as opposed to the strictly therapeutic programs they typically are offered as after school activities.
