One of the areas best and most talented chefs, James Herzig has joined our team at Thirsty Barrel Taphouse & Grille. James started off his career with a bang at the tasting room of the award winning Wise Villa Winery and earned his first executive chef title. There after taking Auburns Nectar café to a whole new level and winning multiple Sacramento Vegan Chef Challenges and using his knowledge of food and wine pairings, hosting numerous six course paring dinners that became very successful and well known in the area. Now with his passion for craft beer and wine combined with masterful cooking techniques and great relationships with local farmers he is excited to help open Grass Valleys brand new Thirsty Barrel Taphouse & Grille putting his unique and fresh twist on pub fare. We are excited to have James here at Thirsty Barrel and look forward to sharing our great menu with you. Welcome James!
