Our Story

The Restaurant

No strangers to the local dining scene, Chepe, and Eileen Garcia opened their first restaurant, Buona Terra in Logan Square, in 2002. The opportunity to open another restaurant came about 13 years later with the purchase of the building that would become Hearth and Crust. Just like Logan Square was 16 years ago, Irving Park to has long needed a family friendly, date night worthy, versatile, girls night out, neighborhood restaurant that offered a great menu with fresh food and fantastic wines in a relaxed environment.

On July 5, 2017, Hearth and Crust opened its doors to rave reviews. Since then it has consistently garnered five-star reviews across social media.
