First off, I would like to inform you the reason why my family is so passionate about the name “Blue Fish”.
The name is meaningful to my family and especially to me.
With over 10 years of experience of being a main sushi chef in renowned sushi restaurants in Hollywood and downtown LA, Rich was able to open up his own restaurant called Blue Fish & Grill here in Santa Rosa to bring his unique style and taste to Northern California.

Although this label of “Blue Fish” may sound relatively simple as it is directly translated into English, and unorthodox compared to other sushi restaurants, the word “blue” displays an image of the blue ocean and its fresh fish to the customers.
Moreover,there are certain fish that are more expensive with the blue color, such as the Blue Tuna.
This brings a different image of quality and luxurious fish that we hope to provide for our customers.
