Our Story

Baker Boys is a true "mom and pop" dessert shop owned and operated by long-time pals Pastry Chef Jordan Rappaport and Peter Rauser.

The Baker Boys are committed to providing the freshest (baked off "day-old" goods to be found here!), most delicious gourmet cupcakes, scones, muffins, cookies, cheesecakes, hand-crafted frozen custard, and coffee on the North Shore. And not to be forgotten are their eclairs and croissants, both plain butter and chocolate!

Recognized within the first three months for their dedication to the sweet tooth, the Baker Boys found themselves on Chicago Magazine's prestigious "Hot List."

We open at 7:30 am, and have delicious Big Shoulders & La Colombe coffees, espresso drinks, teas, and more available. Our breakfast goods [scones, plain croissants, chocolate croissants, and muffins] are first off the assembly line followed by cupcakes, cookies, cheesecakes and eclairs.

We encourage and accept pre-orders so that we can satisfy all your bakery needs when you need them as well as those of all of our customers on any given day. Any pre-orders must be placed at least one work day prior to pick up. To thank you for your pre-order, we'll provide you with a 10% discount on a dozen or more of either cupcakes or cookies.
