Our Story

Texas de Brazil Brazilian Steakhouse, is carving a new experience in dining. This continuous dining restaurant embraces a time-honored tradition of churrasco-style cooking, which was adopted from the gauchos, or Brazilian cowboys of Rio Grande do Sul, a region in Southern Brazil. The menu features various cuts of perfectly seasoned beef, lamb, pork, chicken and sausage all slow-roasted over an open-flame and carved at the table by the restaurant’s experienced gauchos.

Additionally, Texas de Brazil boasts an extravagant gourmet salad area containing more than 50 fresh items such as grilled vegetables, imported cheeses, charcuterie, smoked salmon, creamy lobster bisque and many more mouthwatering variations of salads and traditional Brazilian sides. Accompanying the meat service are the celebrated Brazilian favorites: pão de queijo (cheese bread) & cinnamon and sugar bananas. Decadent desserts, refreshing Brazilian cocktails and an award-winning wine list are also available to further enhance the dining experience.

Texas de Brazil, opened the doors of their first restaurant on October 13, 1998 in Addison, TX. The owners, along with native Brazilian and Director of Culinary, Evandro Caregnato had dreams of bringing this culture north to the United States and their destination of choice was no other than cattleman’s land… Texas. Years later, Texas de Brazil is still family owned and operated and continues to expand both domestically and internationally bringing the culture and feast of Brazil to millions of guests every year.
