Canela Bistro & Wine Bar is the realization of our dream to share the love of Spanish cuisine and culture in San Francisco. Mat Schuster, Canela’s executive chef, has dedicated his life to creating sophisticated and unforgettable flavors using only top of the line local products in conjunction with gourmet Spanish products. Right after we came to San Francisco, we immediately fell in love with the city and the Castro neighborhood, and we opened Canela, our Spanish restaurant in 2011.
