We believe that both Yoga and Ayurveda are taught and practiced most effectively when they are tailored to the needs and capacities of the individual. Everybody is different and choosing a style of practice or teacher for yourself is a very personal process. The most important thing is that you are enjoying what you are practicing and getting good results. While people can benefit from group classes or general suggestions about how yoga can be practiced these benefits don’t compare to the potency and usefulness of studying yoga directly with a teacher who you know and trust.
There is an old Chinese Proverb that goes “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” With this in mind the yoga resources offered on our website are meant to provide guidelines for personal exploration and discovery but should not be taken as dogma. Scott Blossom has studied Yoga and Ayurveda exclusively with Zhander Remete and Dr. Robert Svoboda for 17 years and the information offered here is sourced primarily from them, his personal practice, and his clinical experience. Scott hopes that you benefit as much as he has from integrating Yoga and Ayurveda in his life and health.
