Homebridge provides home care and support services in San Francisco and San Mateo counties. Our largest program is home care, in which we deliver more than 600,000 hours of home care service to over 1,500 clients annually. We also operate a training program for personal caregiver, and an online marketplace for consumers to find trained caregivers.
Our expertise is in working with clients who are ill, cognitively-impaired or have other issues that make it challenging for them to live independently in their homes. Our innovative, client-centered model of care integrates case management, operations and scheduling support, and caregiver training, and is designed to tailor to the personal, changing and frequently-intensive needs of our clients.
Our home care clients reflect the ethnic and racial diversity of the Bay Area and speak more than 10 languages and dialects. We serve adults across the age spectrum, with approximately 50% of our clients over the age of 65 and 10% over the age of 85.
For our Consumer Services home care program, clients are referred to us by the San Francisco Department of Aging and Adult Services (DAAS) In-Home Supportive Services Program and by the Health Plan of San Mateo. We hire, oversee and manage home care providers for these clients, and we also provide them with case management services.
Importantly, we also view the training of caregivers as an key component of our mission, and strive to provide opportunities for professional development to both our own caregiver employees at the Homebridge and the students that come to our training program. Our training program provides industry-leading training to more than 800 home caregivers each year at our state-of-the-art training facility.
