The Soccer Unity Project (SUP) is a start up non-profit organization located in San Diego, California.
What do we do?
SUP provides children and their families the opportunity to be part of a fun and educational soccer community. Here at SUP we believe that building communities is contagious. We plan to take the communities that we form and expose them to the idea of giving back to the less fortunate.
Why do we do it?
You will notice that our jerseys do not have numbers on the back. This is because we are about the logo on the front (our team), not the number on the back (individual). The leaders of the Soccer Unity Project are firm believers in the power of community service. If we can expose our youth teams to the idea of giving back to their community, then it is likely to open their eyes to the beauty of the world around us and the importance of being part of a community. Therefore, what better way to bring people together than with the world's game (soccer)!?
