Pathways In Education is an Alternative Learning Opportunities Program (ALOP) in Chicago dedicated to serving the local community and supporting at-risk and underserved students. We began our story in 2002, leading students on communication and leadership focused camps in the California wilderness. In 2006, we opened our first school in Chicago and in 2010 we bought our first property dedicated to learning outside the classroom. Today we have eight schools in four states, a 240 acre organic farm in Northern California, and a dude-ranch in the Colorado Rockies. Thanks to the support of students, parents, staff, and countless community partners, we know our story has only just begun.
