Let's skip the boring sports resume. I entered youth sports instruction in 1998 with a bag of basketballs and an opportunity to teach an after school program at a local school.
Since that day my colleagues and I have been assembling a team that now partners with, supports & services over 50 of your favorite local schools, parks, clubs & community centers to offer sports programs that families can truly appreciate. I dedicate myself and my team to ensuring the highest quality programs are offered to Chicagoland's young people through its local communities.
There are two things I remember about growing up playing basketball, baseball, tennis, football & soccer. One was that it was fun! The other is that it was even more fun to witness the rewards of your own self-improvement as a result of your desire to learn and achieve.
There is no better self esteem booster than gaining confidence in yourself. And if you get to have fun while you're doing it, you get to have your cake and eat it too. With what I do now, I still expect to improve as a player, a teacher, and a person every day. I tell my instructors if they care about what they are teaching and who they are teaching it to, all the other pieces will fall into place.
