Our full-service bar features 12 local craft beers on tap and an assortment of specialty cocktails mixed with syrups and bitters made in-house. The General also boasts a full-service packaged goods liquor store that retails popular beer, affordable quality wine, and select spirit offerings.
The General gets its name from General John A. Logan—the Civil War hero and former Illinois Senator for whom Logan Square is named. Credit General Logan for establishing what is now known as Memorial Day.
