The atmosphere at Shakewell is fun, warm, welcoming, lively and convivial, making the restaurant and bar an equally perfect place for cocktails after work, an intimate date, a weeknight dinner or weekend brunch with friends.
With Chef/Partner Jennifer Biesty at the helm, Shakewell offers vibrant and healthy cuisine that is broken up into a menu of small plates, greens, little fish, bombas, meats and sides that are meant to be shared and are crafted using the best products available. The menu showcases Mediterranean flavors as well as influences from Spain, Turkey, and North Africa, that are infused with fun seasonal twists. Our small plates menu also include tapas-style dishes, seasonal salads and of course General Manager/Partner Tim Nugent's famous desserts. Every dish is fresh, healthy, house-made, and prepared daily.
Shakewell's vibrant and social bar is one of the focal points of the restaurant, where guests gather to share affordable and seasonal cocktails and tapas. There are six classic cocktails, and six rotating seasonal cocktails on the menu, including some interesting sherry-based concoctions. There is also an eclectic wine list featuring bottles from Greece, Spain, Italy and California and a small, locally focused beer list featuring Almanac Beer Company and Linden Street Brewery.
