Modern Coffee

Modern is a women-owned coffee roaster with 4 shops in downtown Oakland & downtown Berkeley. In addition to our own roast, we also feature a rotating selection of coffees from some of our favorite west coast roasters including Chromatic Coffee, Counter Culture, Stumptown & Verve. 

At Modern, we think getting a delicious cup of coffee shouldn’t be complicated and it shouldn’t cost a fortune. We believe the best coffee shops are warm & inviting, with friendly staff and tasty products. That’s what we strive to provide.
