Christy started the bakery in September 2012 after several years working in kitchens and bakeries around the Bay Area. She is also known as “granola girl” as her granola was the first big hit for the bakeshop. She focuses on the pastry side of the business.
Cailin joined as co-owner of the bakery in September 2013, bringing 8 years of bread baking experience. Cailin has a particular obsession with long-fermented, naturally leavened, hearth baked breads, and enjoys adding whimsical combinations of ingredients to flavor them.
Cailin and Christy share a passion for using organic ingredients sourced as locally as possible. They are excited to be located in the Valley of the Heart’s Delight and are working hard to become an integral part of the local sustainable food economy.
