In November of 2014, voters in San Francisco approved a controversial ballot measure that will gradually raise the city’s minimum wage to $15 per hour by 2018. Many cities and counties in the Bay Area are now following suit.

How will this change the hourly wage in your town? We've compiled the facts so you can get informed on one of the heated subjects stirring in Bay Area communities.

The tables below show how hourly wage will change over the next few years in the Bay Area, county by county. If a city is not listed below, that (most likely) means the city doesn't have a minimum wage law and employers should follow the State of California minimum wage.

Minimum wage laws can change frequently, so it's a good idea to check your city government website for the latest information.
