Are you looking to get active? We've created a list of some awesome organizations and businesses located in the Bay Area that promote health and fitness! Whether you're looking to walk dogs, referee a sporting event, or work the front desk at a country club, we've included a little bit of everything that's bound to interest you. Read on!

1. KidzToPros

KidzToPros is a trusted multi-sport organization that caters to offering sports and activities for K-12. This includes after-school programs, structured recess programs, private/group lessons and seasonal camps throughout the entire calendar year, which means more hours for available coaches!

2. Blue Dog

Blue Dog started over 5 years ago with the goal of providing your dog with daily exercise in a safe and healthy environment. All of our walks are on-leash and in packs of no more than 3 dogs. 

They believe that dog walking is not only about the dog but about customer service as well. They utilize an application called Petcheck, which notifies you when your dog is picked up and dropped off, any notes about their walk, and provides a GPS map of where your dog has been.

3. ZogSports

ZogSportsSF organizes sports leagues, trips, social events, and volunteer opportunities for people in their 20s and 30s. ZogSportsSF donates a portion of all proceeds to charity and helps participants "Play For Your Cause" through charitable donations to winning teams’ charities of choice.

4. Bay City Bike Rentals and Tours

Bikes for all ages, levels and tastes to explore San Francisco on your own. By offering the largest selection of adult bikes, kids bike’s, and specialty equipment they can satisfy anyone’s biking needs. 

They are the local guided tour experts and proudly feature four Daily Guided Tours. Their professional guides can take you to explore San Francisco up close and personal.

5. Harbor Bay Club

Whether you’re looking for a good game of tennis, fun company and a glass of wine, a rigorous workout, or a spa treatment and a salad, the Harbor Bay Club is the only place in the East Bay where you can do it all! Here you can exercise, socialize, meditate, relax, & indulge.

6. CycleBar

CycleBar unites you with riders of all ages and fitness levels by creating an unparalleled multisensory, intoxicating journey. Led by friendly, high-energy CycleStar Instructors and fueled by pumping playlists in their state-of-the-art CycleTheatre, CycleBar delivers far beyond a great cardio workout.

7. Huckleberry Youth Programs

For 50 years, Huckleberry Youth Programs' mission has been to educate, inspire, and support underserved youth to develop healthy life choices, to maximize their potential, and to realize their dreams. They accomplish this by providing San Francisco and Marin youth and their families with a network of services and opportunities.

8. Claremont Country Club

Claremont Country Club is located in the Rockridge neighborhood of Oakland adjacent to the Oakland Hills and the city of Piedmont. The 100+ year-old club includes an 18-hole golf course, seven tennis courts, two outdoor pools and a fitness facility. 

Members also enjoy dining and social events in a beautiful Tudor-style clubhouse built in 1929 and renovated over the years. Claremont provides a quiet place to enjoy all the amenities of a first-class club and offers a beautiful setting for private events.

9. Sports Basement

Sports Basement is a growing sporting goods retailer with eight locations in the San Francisco Bay Area as well as an online store. They take pride in selling the best brands at basement prices.

10. SF Tots

SF Tots provide soccer, basketball, and baseball programs for young children. SF Tots Soccer child development classes are for children starting at 18 months up to 6 years old. SF Tots Hoops classes are for kids starting at 2½ years old up to 6 years old. 

MiniSoccer scrimmages for kids aged 4 to 6 years old provide an opportunity to play soccer in a small team format to maximize playing time. Their emphasis is on fun in a non-competitive atmosphere.

11. Street Soccer USA

A soccer facility that runs a number of soccer leagues, pick up games, tournaments, soccer classes, and event rentals for youth and adults. Their parent organization is Street Soccer USA and proceeds from the Street Soccer USA Park support soccer programs for at-risk youth and homeless adults in the San Francisco Bay Area and 14 other cities across the nation.

12. RiDE Oakland

RiDE Oakland is Oakland's premier indoor cycling studio. They offer a FUN kick-butt cardio workout in an inviting, motivating, and friendly environment.

13. The Inner Athlete

More than just a gym, The Inner Athlete is a community of athletes of varying skills, body types, and abilities working to live, do, and be better. They provide a wide array of programming that caters to their clients' schedules, fitness/life goals, and athletic interests, from group classes, 5k runs, and circuit training, to 1-on-1 coaching, cooking classes, and competition prep.

14. Playworks

Playworks is the leading national nonprofit leveraging the power of play to transform children’s physical and emotional health. Playworks currently serves more than 1300 schools in 23 U.S. cities, and reaches 700,000 students directly and through professional training services.

15. Footfire Soccer Camp

For 20 years, a remarkable community of soccer campers, counselors-in-training and staff have created the Footfire Soccer Camp experience. Footfire traditions are in place: campers collect the annual T-shirt, exchange the Footfire friendship bracelet and anticipate water-play afternoons (when the counselors are fair game). 

The only difference: Footfire campers sleep well at home each night, returning in the morning to Footfire refreshed, inspired and ready to get on the field!

16. PlanetXone LLC

PlanetXone LLC is the San Francisco Bay Area's largest mobile outdoor gaming company, featuring Bubble Soccer, Bubble Sumo, Nerf Dart Tag and other fun games for birthday parties, corporate events, fundraisers, festivals, and fairs.
